This site has been created as a beginning to a more extensive site dealing with astronomical calculations and the display of stars on a simple star map. It's a fairly crude beginning but one which is crucial in the calculation of astronomical events

Simply enter your Gregorian date and hit the Calculate button. I've not modelled the entry validation very thoroughly, so it is up to you to enter the correct number on the 29th day of February during leap years. The little box in the bottom right corner will tell you if the year you've entered is a leap year.
